You guys hit us hard in the DMs, and we are so excited to answer some of the questions and opinions y’all have for us! We haven’t done a “Ask Us Anything” episode before, but thought it would be fun to answer your questions and hang out! You’ll hear us talk about why we started the podcast, our unpopular opinions, embarrassing stories, and how our friendship began. Can’t wait to spill the tea about US with you!

How Anna and Celine Met

Anna and Celine met when their husbands were both attending college in Rexburg, Idaho. They were both living in the same apartment complex at the same time and also went to church together. At first, they did not hit it off. Anna being more quiet, and Celine being a total extrovert. However, they found a common bond over books. And since then, their friendship has thrived!

Assumptions

  • Valory said: you guys met through bookstagram and haven’t met in person yet.
  • Katie reads: You had Twilight posters on your bedroom walls.
  • Ishbel_s: you have lots of friends/ make friends easily.

Listeners unpopular opinions

  • Cliffhangers are really nice and adorable.
  • I’d way rather read a book with a flimsy plot and a great romance then vice versa.
  • James Potter isn’t a good character.
  • You should have a break in between reading books.

Blackmoore by Julianne Donaldson

Kate Worthington knows her heart and she knows she will never marry. Her plan is to travel to India instead—if only to find peace for her restless spirit and to escape the family she abhors. But Kate’s meddlesome mother has other plans. She makes a bargain with Kate: India, yes, but only after Kate has secured—and rejected—three marriage proposals.

Kate journeys to the stately manor of Blackmoore determined to fulfill her end of the bargain and enlists the help of her dearest childhood friend, Henry Delafield. But when it comes to matters of love, bargains are meaningless and plans are changeable. There on the wild lands of Blackmoore, Kate must face the truth that has kept her heart captive. Will the proposal she is determined to reject actually be the one thing that will set her heart free?

Set in Northern England in 1820, Blackmoore is a Regency romance that tells the story of a young woman struggling to learn how to follow her heart. It is Wuthering Heights meets Little Women with a delicious must-read twist.
